LISSfit classes all follow the same class blueprint, creating consistency and structure for the instructor as well as the participants. All LISSfit classes begin on the mat, facing downward in a prone position, and gradually "rise" as class progresses. Each class will contain the following "elements": Wake, Rise, Rise 2, Grow, Vitalize, Energize. Heart rates remain in the 60-70% max range.

Colleen proudly earned her ACE Fitness Group Fitness Instructor certification in 2017 (a year after becoming HIGH Fitness certified), marking the beginning of her journey as a dedicated fitness professional. Since then, she has successfully crafted unique formats and classes that inspire and engage participants. Colleen's passion for fitness extends beyond teaching; she actively mentors fellow instructors and hosts workshops to share knowledge and foster community growth. Over the years, she has continually refined her own classes, striving to provide the best experience for her clients while staying at the forefront of fitness trends and techniques.
As a dedicated Mom to 2 boys, one of which being on the Autism spectrum, Colleen understands the unique needs of this growing demographic of women in their 40s and beyond, who want to feel the best they ever have, all while still prioritizing family. Colleen remains committed to growing and learning alongside her community, fostering healthy habits while always putting her kiddos first. Her journey reflects her dedication to inspiring others, proving that age is just a number when it comes to pursuing dreams and making a positive impact in the lives of those around her.
Colleen's passion for seeing other fitness professionals succeed in the industry drives her every endeavor. Starting with nothing, she embarked on her journey by starting teaching one class, which grew to two, to five, to 10+ a week. As she added certifications and became a Master Trainer for Barre Above (now called Program Specialists), Colleen has certified hundreds of instructors, all while making her mark as a fitness model, filming online workouts for Amazon Halo, JaxJox, and Teeter. Her latest achievement is the design of LISSfit, a revolutionary format that places the long-term success and sustainability of both clients and instructors alike, at the forefront of its design, showcasing her dedication to fostering a thriving fitness community.
